Larkfield is a civil parish in the Kent borough of Tonbridge and Malling. It lies approximately 2.4 miles (3.9 kilometres) southeast of West Malling, 5.5 miles (8.9 kilometres) northwest of Maidstone, and 11.4 miles (18.3 kilometres) south-southwest of Rochester. The parish was established in 1962 by the merger of two minor historic ecclesiastical parishes, East Malling and Larkfield. The parish of 4.16 square miles (10.77 km2) is located in the centre of the hop fields and fruit-growing region, and it includes a rising residential sector.

The name Larkfield is both literal and descriptive, referring to the great number of skylarks seen in the fields; it first appears in the Domesday Book as Lavrochesfel.
